Do penguins ever have to worry about getting too hot because they all live at the south pole?

Actually, they don't live at the south pole, they live within walking distance of the ocean in Antarctica, far from the center of the continent. Moreover, they don't only live in Antarctica- they can also be found in South Africa, Australia and as far north as the Galapagos Islands. In those places, they originally followed very cold ocean currents to get to those locations. Penguins are not generally fans of hot weather, however... especially not the ones in Antarctica. To get to the Arctic, they have to swim across some very hot parts of the planet and they just don't do that. It's the same reason there aren't polar bears in Antarctica (they won't walk far enough south through the heat)
