Do teeth cause a chemical reaction to take place? Explain your answer with example.

No, they only break down the food into simple form, the saliva present in our mouth do a certain digestive break down(it changes the starch into sugar)

The teeths are made out of solid calcium compound and this calcium compound is highly inactive for chemical reactions.

The main purpose of the teeth is to grind, cut the food materials which we eat in our daily life.

Apart from this,no other chemical reaction takes place by the teeth or on the teeth.
