Equation 1      x + 3y = 4

Equation 2    2x + 6y = 6

a1/a2  = 1/2

b1/b2 = 3/6 = 1/2

c1/c2 = 4/6 = 2/3

Since  a1/a2 = b1/b2  \neq  c1/c2

the lines are not coincident.

Hey mate.. ! They are parallel lines
= for parallel line both eqns X andY coefficient must be equal,
So, if we divide 2nd eq by 2 that u can easly see how they are parallel.. Happy to help u :)
