Equation 1 x + 3y = 4
Equation 2 2x + 6y = 6
a1/a2 = 1/2
b1/b2 = 3/6 = 1/2
c1/c2 = 4/6 = 2/3
Since a1/a2 = b1/b2 c1/c2
the lines are not coincident.

= for parallel line both eqns X andY coefficient must be equal,
