Muscles produce pulling effect .During contraction of muscles  Actin attached to z line come towards M line ( A band ) and reduces the I band and as it move towards the M line it is the pulling effect of muscles.

Muscles pull the structure. Muscles will pull the bones not push. Skeletal muscles are typically organized in pairs that pull the bones in the opposite direction.

• Our body movement stimulated by muscles. Most of the muscles are constructed with elongated cells called muscle fibers.

• Muscles are two types those are involuntary muscles and voluntary muscles.

• Involuntary muscles work automatically. Smooth muscles and cardiac muscles are involuntary muscles.

• Skeletal muscles are voluntary muscles. We can actively control its function.
