do we use hydro electric plant to generate electricity in turbines
Answers
Answer:
Hydro power plant capture the energy of falling water bottle to generate electricity. A turbine convert the kinetic energy of falling water into mechanical energy. then Generator convert the mechanical energy from the turbine into electrical energy.
Answer:
In hydroelectric plant the water stored in the reservoir is used as a source of potential energy. This water is made to fall at a great speed & hence there is a production of kinetic energy in flowing water. This fast flowing water falling down from the reservoir is brought to the turbine at the lower levels. The kinetic energy of the flowing water in turn drives the turbine. The turbine then drives the generator & electrical energy is produced.
