I don't think that naughty children should be reprimanded for the deeds they do if they were not intending to harm others because they may be trying to help out or maybe even trying to prove a very important point.
Normally when children get scolded or reprimanded when they are not aware of what they are doing they may feel rejected
and may want to avoid you
This could also lead to hatred to the person who scolded them
