Spreading unkind gossip in person or online is not a decent or mature way to act. Rumors are most harmful because there is no way good way to fight them, and are the ultimate weapon of revenge . ... Rumors travel faster than fire though a hayfield, and the fouler they are, the more they are repeated and believed.
