Absolutely true they act in the same manner as we do they bite if you disturb them and if they feel uneasy they even warn you .

Yes, Snakes don't want to bite us and don't want to waste their venom. They bite for their self protection . When we suddenly go close to them. Even many snakes such as rattle snake alarms people by rattling. Cobra expand their body to show that it is dangerous and we should not go close to them.They alarm us to not to go close to them.
