In the story of the Address written by Marga Minco, the plot is set at Hitler’s reign. It is the time when we find, Hitler trying to conquer other foreign nations and imposing irrational rule over the Jews and foreigners.

When the author was a small child, mr. Dorling used to come to visit the author’s mother to take her belongings so that she could store them till the war had been over.
After years, the author came to visit mrs. Dorling to take her mother’s belongings. Meanwhile she was a cunning fellow and had actually betrayed the author later as she refused to accept that she ever knew the author.

The author understood that war has made a severe impact on the people to hate others. Even though the war was over yet the impact has a deep root which would take much time to heal and recover from the damage.
