do you agree with helen's (from the movi helen of troy) decision for staying in troy?
Answers
Answer:
Helen stayed in Troy because that was the safe place for her. She was in love and wanted to stay with her lover which is understandable on her part. Her decision of staying wasn't wrong. Rather, accepting the wooden horse was wrong. Because the people of Troy should have been atleast this smart to understand that after such a long siege would their rivals be willing to back down? Come to think of it, not at all. They planned and plotted well which is why they fooled the people of Troy.
Answer:
I strongly disagree with Helen's decision of staying in Troy as she was already married to Melanus and it was her moral duty to stay with him and be obedient to him.
Explanation:
Helen was married to 'King Menelaus of Sparta' but was 'abducted' by Paris of Troy. She decided to stay in troy since the goddess Aphrodite promised her to him in the judgment of Paris. Since Menelaus of Sparta was still in love with Helen, he set out the Trojan War when Achaeans set to reclaim her.
