Yes, the printed books are still having a huge role in our lives. This is due to the following reasons:
1) Many people,especially students, still lack internet connection to access virtual books easily.
2)Acquiring computers necessary for internet access, is fairly an expensive ordeal for many.
3)Many schools and government have not digitized their education system due to the financial issues.
4)Many countries in the world, especially in the rural areas, do not have electricity connection that is required obtaining some form of access to the internet.
