Do you agree with the speaker in the poem the nightingale by Philip Sidney. BA 11nd sem ??

In some parts of the poem, it can be agreed but not in all.

For instance, the speaker asks readers to pity Tereus which is not at all desirable because he is the one responsible for the rape of Philomela as well as cutting off her tongue.

Moreover, when the speaker says that men can't show their emotions, it cannot be agreed because, at certain times, men too can show their emotions just like women.
