Well, that can be instead somewhat true. Turkle said as part of a human being, we like to move to a place where we can be heard,  be who we want to be, and never be alone. In other words, it's a clique.

A good example can be from school: you usually sit with the people you know instead of strangers, right? While waiting in carpool, people who you are only familiar with will come and talk to you. Why is that?

The reason is for one of the common natures that humans all share: fear of being lonely.

The brain gives us the physicological suggestion to talk to someone. Hence, everyone is alone inside and we are all trying to find a safe space to hide that fear. Yet this is what makes us unique, after all, it gives us a self-identity, not an identity forged by the community.
