Mini's father did the right thing as he had never seen a homicide before, and as there was a festivity in the house i.e; Mini's marriage ceremony, at first he refused, but afterwards, understanding the gravity of the situation changed his mind, after Rahim showed how his bonding between Mini was the representation of his own daughter's in a far off Afghan land. He then understood that Rahim identifies how his own daughter would have changed by seeing Mini.
