Yes, I fully approve the methods adopted by Mrs. Fitzgerald. There is a famous saying: "Spare the rod and spoil the child." Mrs. Pearson's family members are spoilt because she is soft with them. As a result they take her for granted.

Mrs. Fitzgerald exchanges souls with the Mrs. Pearson and teaches Doris, Cyril, and Mr. George the required lessons in family etiquette. She treats them harshly and firmly. She refuses to do their work and  She makes them realize Mrs. Pearson's importance; her strategy to bring them back on track is quite ingenious and successful. As a result of her efforts Mrs. Pearson's family life is again filled with love, trust, and joy.
