Yes respiration is an exothermic process.Respiration is nothing but the release of energy by oxidation of glucose.Release of energy in any reaction is termed as exothermic reaction.

yes ,respiration is an exothermic reaction beacause in exothermic reaction heat energy is released.......glucose get break down into carbon dioxide and heat ..so respiration is a exothermic reaction
