Most of the time, you'll want affect as a verb meaning to influence something and effect for the something that was influenced. Thedifference between affect and effect is so slippery that people have started using "impact" as a verb instead. Don't be one of them!

Hey friend!!
Here's your ans.
Affect is chiefly used as a verb and its main meaning is ‘to influence or make a difference to.'
Effect, on the other hand, is used both as a noun and a verb, although is more commonly used as a noun. As a noun it means ‘a result or an influence’,
Hope it helps!!
