Do you know the speed of the light? How much time did light take to cover the distance of 3 m from the window to the table? Compare this with the time taken by sound of alarm clock to reach you.

➡️speed of light is 3*10⁸m/s

➡️it take 1*10-⁸ sec to cross such distance

➡️time taken by light is negligible as compared with sound(440m/s)
