Do you recollect stories told by your parents about some interesting game they used to play during their childhood ? If you were given an opportunity to bring back any one of those games which are now on the brink of extinction, how will you reinvent the game amongst the tech savvy youth of today's world?

Yes, at some point everyone gets the chance to hear tales about ‘their times’ from parents and grandparents and so have I. Many games they tell me about have fascinated me and I believe the best steps that can be taken to reinvent them in today's tech-savvy era are -
- Curiosity should be generated among the today's youth to try the games out in real. This can be done by giving special benefits to the youngsters who play the game in real, even if the game has an online version.
- They should be made aware about the benefits of such games.
- Limiting other modes of entertainment (like limiting the use of online games or Xbox for school going children)

I would like to bring back a game commonly called as seven stones. Its common name is Pithoo, Ezhu Kallu, Saat Patha, Lingocha, Sitoliya, Dabba Kal, etc. The theme of the game is there are two groups which are the searcher and the hitter. Each group has no less than 3 players. In the "focal point" of a little circle, the stones are organized in rising order, the littlest being on the top. Both the groups are given 3 opportunities to collapse the stone heaps with a softball. I will try to create interest about this game by playing it with my friends in my mohalla as well as in the school.
