democratic government may not always be responsive to the people but it is considered as a better form of government because in a democracy the people are informed about the steps taken by the government.the govt is accountable and should be able to answer the people as it is a peoples govt and people have given their valuable votes and they have the power to dissolve the govt if any problem arises.
