How are you? Recently I have joined Instagram and I do see what you mean by the app leading us all to our downfall.
I have posted a picture of myself and the likes and comments I got made me feel so beautiful and I even felt absolutely dejected when my aesthetic shot of an antique chandelier did not get that many likes or a single comment.
I see the whole point of flattery now. We humans are always greedy for acceptance and kind words. Flatterers have tapped into that and they get their jobs done by saying a few compliments to their bosses or the person who will help them with that job.
Even though I believe, and will always do, that flattery will only get you so far, it is the temporary perks which accounts for most people. Anyways, I am done with social media. Talk to you later! Love you. "
