Yes they will work similarly in landfill sites the process of making them favourable is downstream processing. They have to pass through tests and after passing then only they are approved for commercial use. Hence they will work similar in other places also......

No, because in lab the microbes used for experiment.

But in field they are used as friends of farmer as well as the enemy.
