Yes, Mrs. Packletide was able to achieve her hearts desire.She wanted to kill a tiger and prove to Loona Bimberton that she too can have a tiger skin if she wanted to, which was accomplished by killing the tiger.She wanted to boast to her friends of her prized possession and also get into the limelight, which was also fulfilled. Mrs. Packletide had her pictures in the newspaper and magazine. And she could finally show off to Loona Bimberton.

I think Mrs packeltide is heart desire because she thought herself and prove only her superiority A her action were guided by the desire to prove her superiority to loona bimberton she planned to kill the tiger by bribed the villagers, hired Miss Mebbin by a goat kill, the tiger arranged the lunch party invited the press photographer, gifted loona bimberton with a tiger clow brooch and bought Miss Mebbin a week, end cottage just to prove her superiority.
