do you think panch and patla system is suitable for present day society? give reasons for your answer

its suitable as our country has federal government which means the power is not concentrated at the center but its divided at different levels. one of those level is of panchayti raj . as state govt. can't get the whole matter of each village properly thus it requires the need of panchayat and punch.
