Yes, political stability led to economic prosperity in medieval India. We see the Mughal empire especially under Akbar and his successors was very prosperous because of political stability.

The political stability allowed Akbar to take various economic and land reforms which lead to economic prosperity. The political stability allowed traders and merchants to carry goods to every corner of the country as well as outside the country which also lead to economic prosperity. It encouraged the monetized economy. It encouraged his (Akbar) alliance with bankers and ensured a continuous flow of goods and notes of credit.

The economic prosperity can be see through the GDP which was very high and through the construction of palatial structures.
