Do you think sending an email is more beneficial than sending a letter by post why or why not discuss

I think sending an email is more beneficial than sending a letter by post because we will never have to worry when the email is sent as they would regularly check their mails. Posting letter is also not wrong. It is our memories. But we will have to worry whether have it passed correctly or have it being read by the right person.
