Yes, Sue was indeed a very good friend. When Johnsy became ill due to pneumonia she lost the will the to live and started counting the number of leaves on the ivy creeper to mark her death. But Sue tried to revive her at every step so that she could again have the desire to live. She tried to divert her mind and even took care of her every minute. She even went to Behrman to ask for his advice.
So, Sue was a very good and caring friend!!
