Answer:

nope

sex is determined only by genes

sex is controlled by what sex chromosomes you have/inherit

if you have one X and one Y, you are male

if u have two X, u r a female

only controlled by genes/chromosomes

discontinuous variation

ex: people can only be male or female (not thinking about trans r8 now...)

if sex was affected by environment, then there would be many types of males and females (which is kinda absurd...)

hope it helps:)

Answer:

Environmental factors are completely invalid to sex determination.. Environmental factors may affect the characters of the offsprings, but not their sex.

For example, there are no such things that in a cold weather, a boy will be born or a girl, but their skin maybe pale..The chances of the pale skin are 70% out of 100%. And vice versa, there aren't such things that in tropical climate or hot weather, either of the two sex shal be guaranteed to be born by the parents..

Hope u understand what I am trying to say and Good luck for ur studies..

Hope it helps.
