Yes, the production and quality of wool also depends on the climate in which that sheep is living.

  • The land which does not support agriculture and the climate in that area is cool and dry is best for wool farming.  
  • Actually, this is the sole reason why Australia is the leading sheep/wool farmer in the whole world because of its cool and dry climate and land.
  • Wool is a wavy hair that has been altered. Woolen fabrics have a higher bulk (than cotton fabrics) and, due to their waviness, trap more air. As a result, woolen textiles keep us warm on cold winter days.
