The belgian model of government was perfect for the belgian people as it solve all the conflicts and made belgium a peaceful country. But if they had to do it differently then they could follow the present day indian constitution.
Written very beautifully, the constitution is perfect where public elects their leaders and whose who don’t get elected get reservations. The corruption in our country is not due to the constitution but because of the people who implement it.
The belgian government could too have three levels of government namely— union, state and local governments instead of its central, state, and community governments. The benefit will be that they wouldn’t need different community government for each community.
But still the belgian model of government is best for belgium as there has been no conflict or confusion so far.
