Do you think the Chipko Movement started without any planning? Explain your answer with reasons.

I think It started without any planning as When a girl from the village informed gaura devi that the forest officials were going to cut down trees, gaura devi and 17 other women immediately rushed to that place and hugged the trees . When the government officials still did not listen , they chased them for about 17 kilometers.they did all of this only because of their love for trees , and not with any planning, according to me.
