she is not brainless but rather too innocent.... due to which she got lured by the frog's flattery comments and commands........ my belief.
Ya she was not innocent but she had lack of confidence with lead her to death.

Yes the nightingale was truly brainless for 3 reasons:
1.) She couldn't see through the introductory trick of the frog and believed him to be an expert musician.
2.) She couldn't understand why the frog had been making her to sing non stop.
3.) She couldn't understand the hint of the frog when he said that she still owes him 60 shillings. All in all, she did not realize that the frog was slowly killing her.

Yes, of course is there any doubt .
that brainless creature.
because she agrees to receive training from a creature who croaked.
She was not confident of herself .She fell into the trap of laid the scheming frog. She acted on frog's advice which resulted in her untimely death.
