Yes. According to me voting is affected by social divisions as political leaders take advantages of the crisis faced by divided social groups and gets his votes purely by promising them a better life. This creates a confusion in the people's mind and they advise the people of the group to vote only this particular political leader. Thus voting gets affected by social division
