Hey there!

If a line kx+ly+c passes through (a,b) if
x=a, y=b I.e the points must satisfy the equation

Given point =(1,1)

Equation f(x,y) = 3x+y-4=0

f(1,1) =3[1]+1-4=0

=4-4=0

So the line 3x+y-4=0 passessays through (1,1)

hope helped!

to check 3x + y - 4 =0 passes through (1,1) we need to substitute the point in the equation of line
3(1) + (1) - 4 = 0
3 + 1 - 4 = 0
4-4=0
0=0
hense the line 3x + y - 4 =0 passes through point (1,1)
