Yes, magnetic monopoles are valid solutions of many different theories of physics from classical/semiclassical to suspersymmetric grand unified theories.
As a valid theoretical objects they exist in many different kinds/forms. From detailed study of these particular theories which gives rise to monopole solutions it can be shown that our current technology is far beyond possibility of experimental verification of these predicted “particles”.
So far magnetic monopoles are only existent within world of mathematically rigorous theory. But this is problem of underfunded scientific research rather then inconsistency of theory and reality.
