One structural difference between Arteries and veins are as follows -

Arteries mainly transfer oxygen related blood from heart . Arteries are mainly the thick wall muscular tube .

On the other hand Veins transfer deoxygenated blood . It carries the blood in the direction of the heart.

If we take an example of it , then we can say that in the heart of mammals, two kind of circuits are found in the particular animal's blood circulation . The two types are systemic circulation and pulmonary circulation.
