draw a triangle ABC with all angle 60 but with sides 3 cm each and draw another triangle DEF with all angle 60 but sides 5 cm each so the AAA similarity criteria ABC and DEF are similar but not congruent

two triangles are equal when their areas are same and two triangles are congruent when their sides are in proportion.

Here,
Area of the triangle ABC= 1/2×6×4=12 unit²
Area of triangle PQR= 1/2×8×3=12 unit²
So, the areas are the same therefore they are equal
But they are not congruent to each other as 8/6≠ 3/4
