Does a spinning object always have nonzero angular momentum?

Let us take an example:-
Suppose a earth is rotating at axis than a asteroid is coming towards the earth at perpendicular direction. So the angle of earth rotation is 360 but the angular momentum of that asteroid is same but earth's motion is continuously changing.
Its means that spinning object have always non zero A.M
