An ordinary electric lamp does emit the EM waves.
- An electric lamp consists of an incandescent light bulbs
- The bulbs are the devices that convert energy to light by using electrical current to heat a filament until it absorbs electromagnetic radiation.
- When current flows through the filament the high resistance causes the temperature to rise until it glows.
- This effect is called incandescence, and is the guiding principle behind the light bulbs
