does asexual reproduction involves gamete formation also in some cases.. pls explain on the basis of definition given in ncert book which i have provided in picture

asexual reproduction doesn't involve fusion if male and female gametes as there is only single parent involved . do there is no variation also introduced.
but in asexual reproduction , there is fusion of male and female gametes as there are both the parents involved .there is variation introduced .

Yes the gamete is involved in asexual reproduction..But like in organisms doing sexual reproduction carrying two gametes is not possible.

There is only one parent and one gamete is involved in asexual reproduction...
