The process of combustion is the burning or oxidation of a substance in the presence of oxygen and moisture in the surrounding air.

When a substance burns by breaking into dazzling flames, it produces light.

However, if the combustion is a slow oxidation process, like the rusting of iron, it does not produce any light due to the slowness of the reaction.

No, in combustion process,  light is not produced always .

ex- iron slowly reacts with oxygen and moisture present in the air to form rust . During rusting of iron ,the heat is released at such a slow rate that it is difficult to detect it, but no light is produced.
