yes economic equality guarantee social equality inthe way that if a person is wealthy economically he will also have a social status .The poor people doesn't have social status because they r poor but rich people have better social status as they have money in their hand so somehow economic equality is neccesary for social equality

Economic equality would go a long way in bringing about social equality if social barriers are broken down, access to education is equally provided to all sections of society and no discrimination is made anywhere or at any time on the basis of language, religion, ethnicity and so on.By itself, economic equality cannot bring about social equality.
