According to current situation India doesn't but if the economy goes on decreasing then they might need it. Plus as India is a democracy they don't really need a revolution as the leader can be replaced every 5 years but if any external power comes into India they might need it. So far things are not that bad for Indians to start a revolution.

no India doesn't need the same kind of revolution as French Revolution because in India there is democracy and it is the rule of people by the people and for the people
