Does it is necessary that object should compulsory fall on the ground during free fall? But then objects in space are appear to be floating because of its velocity but then why they don't fall down on,ground as in free fall object has to fall down in ground ?????​

When object falls from a top of a building doesn't matter a free fall or not, it falls on the ground beacuse there is gravity.

Gravity comes from the core of the earth. And its the force by which every object falls on the ground. Without it, everything would float in the air.

But when an object is in space, earth gravitional field is not that strong to pull it on the ground and hence it doesn't fall.

But as the building is in the region of gravitational field, every object from it falls on the ground.
