Photons do not travel in straight lines. To be technical, photons are both waves and particles. If photons were particles, they have deBroglie momentum , so in a Newtonian world, we expect Newton's first law to apply. However, photons aren't particles and they aren't waves.

Answer:

In wave motion

Explanation:

Photons move in a straight line. In a light wave, the electric field is oscillating, and the electric field associated with the light wave has a direction perpendicular to the velocity of the light wave, but the photons themselves travel in a straight line

atom64: if photon travell in straight line the double slit experiment is wrong
