Active Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject is performing the action.

Passive Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject undergoes the action. In other words, it is writing the sentence in reverse order.

Example: Jon is taking down notes. (Active)

Notes are being taken down by Jon. (Passive)

Does she keep her promise? (Active)

Is her promise kept by her? (Passive)

Hope it helps :)
