Try a experiment done by Newtow.

Throw an object .It will come back to it originally positive.

Due to gravity and attraction forces acts on it.

The earth behave like a magnet because,

Eg: we human can sit, stand ,Walk etc but we don't fall down even though the earth is rotation.

Here comes into action the gravitational force hence acts as a magnetic force. The magnetic is which pulls the human to the hence we can say earth behave like a magnet.
