Since AB ll CD so the sum of co-interior angles is 180degree.i.e
angleBPQ+angle DQP=180degree
(half both side)
angleBPQ/2+angle DQP/2=180degree/2
angleTPQ+angleTQP=90degree. (1)
Now we can see that PTQ is a triangle so all angles sum of triangle is 180degree.i.e.
angleTPQ+angleTQP+anglePTQ=180. (2)
Now, putting value from equation 1 to equation 2
90degree+anglePTQ=180degree
anglePTQ=180degree-90degree
anglePTQ=90degree

Hope you have understood.
