Inertia of a body is dependent mainly on the amount of matter in that body. That means inertia is dependent on the mass m.
Friction force is a contact force and is dependent on the normal reaction force R between the two surfaces in touch. Friction F = μ R, where μ is the coefficient of friction. The normal reaction force R is dependent on the mass m. R is is usually k * m g, where k is a constant depending on the orientation of the surfaces and the mass m.
Thus friction force F is dependent on the inertia. Inertia does not depend on the friction.
