does the marks cut if we write to be continued in the story​

Answer:

Let’s say the question asked to write in 500 words and you wrote in 550 words.Then surely no one will cut your marks.

But if you wrote that in 1000 words, surely some marks will be deducted or maybe the later part won’t be taken into consideration.

I hope it clears your query, And I suppose you wouldn’t have made such high difference in the word limit.

As per the rule for every 5 extra word half mark is deducted in long composition questions. Whereas in short compositions for every 3 extra words, the student is penalize.

But you should understand here that the word limit is given for your help. It is there to tell yoy that the question doesn’t require efforts more than the said limit.

As far as deduction of your marks is concerned, I strongly think that examiner will ‘Not’ deduct marks, at least this is what I would do.

Nevertheless, please observe word limit. Because if you continue devoting time in one question you lose time for answering rest of the questions properly.
